| Anyara was born at Barrier Hold, and when rather young she had a romantic relationship with Lord Caley's married half-brother, but was Searched before being publicly disgraced by the discovery of the affair. She Impressed green Cydith in the first Hatching after the Poisoning of Kadanzer. She has done a lot of growing up at the Weyr; she is much more than the shy, dreamy, rather clingy girl she was when she first arrived. Now, though she is still no social sparkplug, she is quick to join in any fun. She still has rather unrealistic expectations of the men in her life; despite the atmosphere of the Weyr, she demands perfect sexual faithfulness. Over the last two Turns, she has been involved in a stormy, on-and-off-again relationship with assistant Weyrsmith Kason. She flies in FlameWind Wing under Wingleader R'mal, but has lately been growing dissatisfied with what she sees as a lack of commitment by too many of her wingmates. | |

| Origin / Inspiration: | I don't know who originally created Anyara, but by the time I came along she was an NPC. I started using her as a supporting character in my Kason stories, and at first I adopted her only so I could secure her for long-term use, but she grew on me and has taken on a life of her own. |
| What she most wants: | A lover who will be loyal as long as they both live. To be in a Wing that takes Threadfighting seriously, since she doesn't want to die! |
| What she most fears: | Being cheated on or abandoned by a lover, or having Cydith die and herself survive. |
| If she lived on Earth: | Anyara would have gotten married young, and probably divorced within a year. Perhaps several times in succession. She probably would not have amounted to much career-wise, but she would have found a niche somewhere and been fairly happy. |
