| Esthevan is the second oldest surviving son of Lord Morgav of Cibola Hold. He and his brother Morthen are locked in an intense rivalry to see who will succeed their father; there are other candidates as well, but those two are generally seen as the leading contenders. Esthevan serves as the assistant organizer of gathers at Cibola Hold; this may not seem like much, but really is a demanding job with lots of responsibilities. He is a hedonist and a sensualist, and plays up these traits in the hope that others will underestimate him; behind the scenes, he is a cold and calculating schemer. | |
| Description: | Age: 33; Hair: Black; Eyes: Grey; Height: 6'1" Esthevan looks much younger than his years. He is extremely good-looking, though boyishly beautiful rather than handsome. He is suave and graceful and dresses richly and elegantly; he seems rather effeminate in his mannerisms, but whether this is natural or intentional no one knows. |
| Origin / Inspiration: | After having Morgav for a while, I started wondering what sort of family such an evil man would spawn. Esthevan started out in the back of my head as a clone of Feyd-Rautha Harkonnen from Dune, though he has taken on a life of his own and grown in ways I hadn't planned at first. |
| What he most wants: | To defeat his brother and become the next Lord of Cibola |
| What he most fears: | Naturally, he most fears that he might not win the heirship struggle. He is willing to risk his life to do it, though, since he feels that life would not be worth living if he lost his chance. |
| If he lived on Earth: | Esthevan would be a scheming vice president in a major corporation, dedicating his life to eventually becoming the Chairman of the Board. |
