Persona in brief Braedyn is the craftmaster of the dolphinhealer training program (as opposed to the dolphin-assisted healer training program). Braedyn was born and raised at the Seacraft Hall, from which he acquired an early knowledge and respect of the wind, weather, and sea. He apprenticed to the Herderhall and earned his journeyman knots in that craft, although his interest in livestock was only lukewarm. Braedyn was recruited into the Dolphineer Craft as Challen began to reestablish it -- and found the craft to be the missing passion his life had lacked. He has been a devoted dolphineer since that day.
Braedyn is a very reserved man. He is dedicated to his craft and would prefer to sit in corners and do jigsaw puzzles to joining the party. He is always polite, almost stiffly so. The craftmster is highly intelligent, and is emotionally evasive to those around him. His outward reserve hides a tendency for intense passion; can be obsessive in his interests and attractives, and thus keeps himself on a tight rein.
He is bonded to Tano, an equally quiet and reserved (for a dolphin) male who has a cautious streak and who can be extremely critical of humans. Braedyn also possesses a bronze firelizard named Ajhin, and is the grandson of retired Headwoman Janvi of the Seacraft Hall.

What's important to know about this character: Go watch The English Patient. Think of Ralph Fiennes. Bingo. (Then, if you are femme and hetero, remember to wipe the drool from your chin...) Character inspiration/history: Meg created this guy, essentially. She got me to promise, years ago now, to adopt Craftmaster Braedyn for the Dolphincraft Hall at Kadanzer. She clinched the decision by sending me photo refs of Fiennes from "The English Patient" as what she had in mind for Braedyn. Appealing to my hormones is wicked, but works... When you visit this persona's office, what do you find? Braedyn is a very internalized fellow. His private room is very neat, with white-washed walls, an open window to the sea, and shelves and shelves of reading material dominate, with little to personalize the room. A painting or two of the sea (one gentle, one a violent storm), and some charcoal sketches of a past obsession are all that he would keep in way of decoration, or as a clue to his emotional life... If this character were a dog, what kind of dog would he/she be? Braedyn would be offended at the very question. Not a dog. Far too much a cat for that. (Purebred Russian Blue, perhaps... or Scottish Fold...)
