Giselle -- F, A=34, H=ginger, E=aqua, HT=5'3". Giselle is a no-nonsense young woman who's determination and iron will are often hidden by her reserved demeanor. She is quiet and extremely observant, and carries herself with a controlled dignity beyond her Turns. Giselle is naturally sober and reserved in nature, as well as deliberate and unwavering in pursuit of her goals. She has always been more interested in academics and pursuing her craft than she has been in establishing personal relationships, and her dedication to her craft has been to the expense of her social life, which she rarely rues. Firelizards gold Lili and bronze Benn; sister of B'deras and daughter of Bella.

Character inspiration/history I joined a club on AOL in 1996 (I think that was when). It was a new club run by a bunch of teenagers, and they needed a dragonhealer. I had been making long drives on behalf of the office, and during the course of those commutes out in the land of Marbled Murrelets, I had been thinking about doing a persona who'd lost a dragon but who still had firelizards... somehow, that translated into the creation of Giselle. The club itself turned out into a joke -- candidates running around with pet ferrets, hawks & parrots, a dragonhealer apprentice who treated injured dragons in unsanitary conditions and in a soft-core peep show manner... After laughing myself silly, I quit and brought Giselle to Kaz, pairing her up with B'deras and Bella then.

When you visit this persona's weyr, what do you find?
Her office is sterile, neat, and nothing is out of place. Ever. The entire Infirmary is kept precisely the same -- candidates and weyrlings become very familiar with the Dragon Infirmary, as there's always a team of them around scrubbing...

Giselle's private quarters are much different. They're neat but crowded -- and very comfortable. You get the immediate sense that this is a woman who rarely allows herself time off the job -- but when she does, she really escapes it. The small room is crowded with shelves, which hold her collection of books, as well as her alchemist's tools.

If this character were a dog, what kind of dog would he/she be? A border collie -- one of those who does't know how to take a day off, and who you have to tie up to keep from running all of the fat off your sheep.

Kieran Kieran -- M, 32, H=black, E=hazel. Forward, not shy in the least, Kieran is a flirt with a dry sense of humor. He comes across as being very relaxed, social, and mellow, but he has a temper that is very seldom seen. It holds his vindictive streak, and he hides it well.
